For my entrepreneurship class, I undertook the task of generating innovative ideas and devising practical solutions for real-world challenges. Drawing from personal encounters with the complexities of purchasing a car, I spearheaded the establishment of MotorDash alongside two fellow students. Our collaborative efforts encompassed conducting thorough surveys and in-depth research to lay the foundation for MotorDash. This comprehensive project entailed meticulous accounting analyses to assess profitability, the development of an app and website framework, and extensive research aimed at effectively addressing the predicament of car acquisition amidst the chip shortage.
IMpulse
As a part of my management class, my peers and I conceived a business concept named IMpulse, tailored specifically for the needs of physical therapists, aiming to facilitate seamless tracking of patients' progress. Taking on a specific role, I assumed the responsibility of developing the app framework, while also overseeing the financial aspects entailed in establishing the company.
Ensemble Logistics
As part of our team's assignment, we were entrusted with the responsibility of developing a comprehensive plan for Ensemble Logistics, a subsidiary of Cottage Industries of Virginia, to establish a new business line. Our primary objective was to propose a well-structured framework for this venture. Within this endeavor, I played a pivotal role in crafting the initial foundational and technological blueprint, as well as designing a professional website and logo for the business. A key component of the technology plan involved rigorous research and selection of suitable shipping software, ensuring seamless operations and optimal efficiency for the company.
Trail Cycle
My partner and I were assigned the responsibility of engaging in a simulation game alongside our peers. The objective of this simulation entailed establishing a bicycle company and contending with other teams in an endeavor to become the foremost competitor within the market. This undertaking encompassed formulating an insightful marketing strategy, conducting comprehensive research and development, and devising a business model aimed at attaining unparalleled dominance over rival bicycle companies.
Understanding Product Strategy
In my marketing class, our team was assigned the responsibility of conducting an in-depth analysis of Spotify's product strategy and its alignment with it’s target market. In order to gain comprehensive insights into effective product strategies, I undertook a comparative evaluation of Apple Music and Spotify, focusing on identifying the respective strengths that contribute to a successful product strategy.
The Role of Minorities in TV and News
Our research team was assigned the responsibility of investigating the portrayal and representation of minority groups within the media landscape. The primary objective of this assignment was to foster a heightened awareness regarding the pervasive issues of stereotyping and underrepresentation within media platforms. Through comprehensive analysis, we successfully identified potential strategies to counteract these concerns and conducted extensive research, unearthing compelling examples that underscore the substantial challenges faced by minorities in our society.

As part of my UX Design course, I was assigned the responsibility of identifying a local business in Harrisonburg that would benefit from enhancements to its accessibility. Specifically, I was tasked with conducting comprehensive research to identify the primary pain points and propose effective solutions aimed at improving the accessibility of Benny's.
